Mr Annan played a major role in international affairs for almost half a century, becoming one of the world’s most celebrated diplomats. Working at the heart of the UN, including ten years as Secretary-General, he was at the helm grappling with some of the biggest crises of the 21st Century.
Mr Annan is well remembered for his contributions to international politics; for his tireless dedication to advocacy for peace and reform; and for his work on human rights and development.
We are delighted to be working with a number of partners to invite you to join us in remembering Mr Annan’s life, his work and legacy.
This event is being held as part of a series of events, including a conference co-hosted with Chatham House, to celebrate Kofi Annan’s life and legacy.
